The Best Korean Food in Krakow

Krakow's Korean scene is small, young and suddenly serious. In the space of a few years it gained a Michelin Guide listing in Zabłocie, an outpost of an actual Seoul cafe two blocks away, a basement hot-pot room under a Korean grocery that K-pop stars have filmed in, and a kimbap counter with the highest Korean rating in the city. What it still lacks is tabletop-grill KBBQ, and we say so up front rather than promise what no kitchen here does.

Geography helps: modern Korean clusters in Zabłocie by MOCAK, and the budget bowls ring the Old Town's northern edge. Six places, from the Michelin selection to a twenty-zloty lunch.

Hankki

Sister venue to Hana Sushi, and the top of Krakow's Korean table: Korean-Japanese with a clear Korean slant, in the Michelin Guide Poland selection since June 2025, recommended rather than starred. The red jjamppong and popcorn chicken are the Korean argument, the weekday bento the value one, and the jiggly panna cotta the finish everyone photographs. The only Korean place in town where booking matters.

MU Restaurant

Opened late 2025 by the owners of Mudaeruk, their same-named cafe and venue in Seoul, with a Korean chef in the kitchen and a high-ceilinged post-industrial hall two steps from MOCAK. Bibimbap and bulgogi done straight, yuzu and ginger-honey teas on the side. The rare case of a Korean brand expanding to Krakow rather than a Krakow kitchen approximating Korea.

Dangol

A basement dining room under the owners' own Korean grocery on Dietla, with semi-private mini-rooms for groups and shared K-hot pots as the centerpiece, the closest thing Krakow has to interactive Korean dining. Bulgogi and tteokbokki fill out the table, and you shop for kimchi upstairs on the way out. K-pop group Super Junior filmed a visit here, which the regulars will tell you about unprompted. Older listings still call it LaLa Seul, same place, renamed.

Oriental Spoon

Krakow's Korean anchor since around 2013, by the Stary Kleparz market, from chef Park, who learned to cook alongside her grandmother in Korea. The menu is deliberately tiny and built around bibimbap with a gochujang-honey sauce that has kept a 4.7 rating across nearly two thousand reviews. The same team runs Mandu, the Korean dumpling and bao bar next door, which doubles the reason to come to this corner.

Pan KimBap

The highest-rated Korean spot in the city with a serious sample: 4.8 stars from about 1,600 reviews, on Kalwaryjska in Stare Podgórze. Kimbap rolls are the signature, with bibimbap, bulgogi ramen and tteokbokki behind them, vegan options clearly marked, and mains at twenty to forty zloty. The definition of a neighborhood place worth crossing a river for.

Choi's Korean Chicken & Cupbop

Krakow's dedicated Korean fried chicken address, frying to order on the ground floor of the historic Elefant building on Krupnicza by the Bagatela theatre. Yangnyeom is the sauce to start with, the fried tofu cupbop covers the no-meat table, and a second branch runs out by Tauron Arena for concert nights. Counter service, no bookings, chicken worth the short wait it is fried in.

How to use this list

A proper Korean dinner: book Hankki, the only one that takes bookings, and pair it with the Zabłocie museums. A group night: Dangol's basement rooms and a shared hot pot. Lunch under forty zloty: Oriental Spoon by the Kleparz market, Pan KimBap across the river, or Choi's chicken on Krupnicza. Just know the budget spots close by eight, because Korean in Krakow is still an early-evening cuisine.
